Global Citizen Festival takes place annually and returned to Central Park, New York, in 2023 for its 11th year – having started in 2012 with 60,000 people in attendance at this iconic venue.

This year’s headliners included the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lauryn Hill and Jungkook, a former member of the K-pop band BTS.

On the day, thousands enjoyed the music festival in-person at Central Park whilst streaming to a global audience via Amazon Prime, Apple Music, YouTube, and other social media platforms.

Global Citizen is an action platform dedicated to achieving the end of extreme poverty, rallying around critical issues such as climate change, poverty, and inequality.
